Honda Center, ARTIC & OCVibe Transportation Guide
Event transportation works best when the pickup plan follows today’s venue instructions—not last season’s map. Use this guide to organize airports, ARTIC connections, group vehicles and the post-event reunion point.
1. Start With the Exact Event
Record the event name, date, ticketed start time and expected ending information. Ducks games, concerts and special events may use different entrances, security rules or operational plans. The event name matters when the reservation team checks current venue guidance.
If the evening includes dinner, hospitality or a client meeting, add those stops before choosing between direct transfers and hourly chauffeur service.
2. Recheck Honda Center’s Official Access Guidance
Honda Center remains open while OCVibe construction and arena improvements continue. Official guidance warns that parking and traffic patterns may change. Review the venue’s transportation and “Know Before You Go” pages shortly before service.
Do not promise guests a permanent entrance or curb position. The final approach must follow current signs, venue staff and traffic-officer instructions.
3. Understand ARTIC’s Role in the Pickup Plan
Honda Center’s current official information directs rideshare and taxi pickup and drop-off to ARTIC at 2626 East Katella Avenue. ARTIC also serves Metrolink, Amtrak Pacific Surfliner and local transit connections.
A private chauffeur reservation should identify the lead passenger, communication method and current meeting instructions. ARTIC is a transportation hub, not permission to stage anywhere a driver chooses.
4. Build the Return Pickup Before the Event
Post-event crowds make vague instructions difficult. Before departure, guests should know the planned pickup area, requested window and how to reach South Coast. Assign one lead passenger when possible so the group is not sending conflicting messages.
The return window should allow for the event finish, venue exit, pedestrian movement and changing traffic controls. A fixed minute-by-minute guarantee is not realistic for a major event release.
5. Choose Direct Transfer, Round Trip or Hourly Service
The best structure depends on the actual itinerary, not the event category alone.
6. Connect Flights to the Event Without Overpromising
John Wayne Airport (SNA), LAX, Long Beach Airport (LGB) and Ontario International Airport (ONT) can all be part of an Anaheim event itinerary. Compare flight availability, terminal, baggage, arrival time and the event schedule rather than relying on a generic travel-time estimate.
Leave space for baggage claim, traffic, event screening and temporary access changes. When the event and flight are too close together, a chauffeur cannot remove those risks.
7. Plan Rail Arrivals and Private Continuation Service
Travelers may arrive at ARTIC by Metrolink or Amtrak Pacific Surfliner. Confirm the train, scheduled arrival, traveler mobile number and final destination. South Coast can plan private continuation service to a hotel, restaurant, home or another Orange County location when the itinerary continues beyond ARTIC.
Check current rail schedules and advisories with the operator. A private vehicle reservation cannot guarantee a train connection or replace a rail ticket.
8. Match the Vehicle to Passengers, Belongings and Access
South Coast can plan sedans, three matching blacked-out 2026 Cadillac Escalade ESVs, a 30-passenger Grech mini bus, a 56-passenger motor coach or multiple vehicles when availability and the itinerary support the assignment.
Larger vehicles can require different staging or access arrangements. Confirm the vehicle before final guest instructions are distributed. Also count bags, mobility equipment, promotional materials and other belongings—not only seats.
9. Include Accessibility and Venue Security in the Plan
Tell South Coast about mobility equipment, assistance needs and the passenger’s preferred communication method before service. Review Honda Center’s current accessibility, bag and screening information directly with the venue because event policies can change.
Private transportation does not bypass security screening, ticket requirements or venue entry rules.
10. Prepare a Written Quote Request
A useful quote comes from the complete event plan. Generic teaser pricing cannot account for event traffic, multiple stops, vehicle size, wait time and the return movement.

11. Send One Short Message to Every Guest
The day-of message should include the pickup window, meeting area, destination, South Coast contact method and lead passenger. Keep it short enough to read on a phone and update it if current venue instructions require a change.
